Hello,

I am KRZYSZTOF

Changing education from the inside.

When I reflect upon my own formal schooling experiences, they are not positive. I was made acutely aware of their impact, long since put away but not forgotten, when I walked into a school again as an adult in the role of student teacher as part of my teacher education program. Standing in an empty hallway, those experiences of isolation, anxiety, and shame were suddenly very familiar. As a learner who did not quite fit in, I know firsthand the transformative power of educators who are willing to listen and teach individual learners and not just curriculum.

From my earliest experiences in the classroom as an awkward child of new immigrants to my current role as an education leader, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that education can have on individuals and communities. I believe that education is the cornerstone of a just and equitable society. It has the power to break down barriers, challenge inequities, and empower individuals to reach their full potential.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have educators who inspired me to think critically, embrace curiosity, and pursue my passions. These formative experiences instilled in me a profound appreciation for the role of education in shaping lives and shaping the world. It's this personal connection to the transformative potential of education that fuels my passion for change.
